Simple Overnight Oats

Simple Overnight Oats Recipe


  • ½ cup oats (I prefer old-fashioned, but quick cook works fine)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

  • A splash of vanilla (optional)


  1. In a small bowl or jar, combine oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, almond milk, and vanilla. Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight, at least 8 hours.

  2. Before serving add desired toppings to chilled oats. Example: sliced apples, bananas, peaches, or berries. Nuts, nut butters or seeds like hemp, pumpkin or sunflower.

  3. If you want to enhance the sweetness add a few drops of liquid stevia to taste. Stir until combined. Enjoy!
