Detox Green Smoothie

Detox Green Smoothie

  • Avocado

  • Spinach/other leafy green or spirulina

  • Unsweetened nut or coconut milk

  • Cilantro (blood cleanser)

  • Steamed then frozen cauliflower or zucchini

  • Protein Powder

Before hand, cut cauliflower and steam until slightly cooked. Place on baking sheet and put in freezer, this allows the cauliflower to freeze without becoming stuck together. Once frozen you can add to a ziplock bag and keep in freezer until needed.

In blender add avocado with spinach or kale, nut or coconut milk, protein powder, frozen cauliflower and blend. This smoothie is nutrient dense, and has a very low sugar and carb content because we are using the avocado for healthy fats instead of fruit. Very thick and filling, great for breakfast.
